Several image files referenced below are held offsite in physical storage and have not yet been digitized. A blank frame does not indicate the photograph is lost, only that scanning has not been scheduled. An accession marked FILE NOT LOCATED was not produced from the shelf at the last inventory and remains listed pending recovery. An accession marked WILL NOT REPRODUCE has been submitted for scanning and did not come back. The equipment is old. Please do not submit duplicate requests.

To request a print or digital copy of any accession listed above, complete Form PR-7 (Photographic Reproduction Request) and submit it in person or by mail. Requests cannot be processed by telephone. Processing time is not measured by this office. A fee of $2.00 per print applies for reproductions exceeding 4x6 inches.

ABOUT THIS ARCHIVE

The New Mercy Photographic Archive was established to preserve the visual record of the Township for the benefit of current and future residents. Holdings are accepted from township departments, closed businesses, and private donation. The Archive does not accept anonymous submissions.

Digitization is carried out with the assistance of the New Mercy Township Free Library, which provides the scanning equipment and the volunteer hours, and under the standing guidance of the Township Historical Committee. Neither body selects the holdings, and neither is responsible for the condition in which a photograph is received.
